Press release on Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn’s meeting with His Excellency Crispin MBADU PHANZU, Minister Delegate in charge of Francophonie and Special Envoy of the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo
On 27 August 2026, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn’s meeting with His Excellency Crispin MBADU PHANZU, Minister Delegate in charge of Francophonie and Special Envoy of the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Both sides emphasized the importance of establishing Cambodia-Democratic Republic of the Congo diplomatic relations to serve as a foundation for enhancing cooperation in the political, economic, educational, digital, and agricultural sectors. They also exchanged views on areas of cooperation to be strengthened with OIF and on regional and international issues of common interest.
